2023 Oscar Nominee EO Comes To Streaming Platforms

, one of this year's Oscar nominee for Best International Feature Film (Poland), is making its streaming debut today, February 21, on Apple TV, and Amazon Prime Video (the film will also be streaming for subscribers of The Criterion Channel). Directed by Jerzy Skolimowski, EO follows the life of a donkey born in a Polish circus. The cast includes Sandra Drzymalska as Kasandra, Lorenzo Zurzolo as Vito, Mateusz Kościukiewicz as Mateo, and Isabelle Huppert as the Countess. The donkey Eo is portrayed by six donkeys: Ettore, Hola, Marietta, Mela, Rocco, and Tako.

The film currently holds a 96% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film has already won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, Best International Film from the New York Film Critics Circle Awards, the Top Five Foreign Films from the National Board of Review, Best Foreign Language Film from the New York Film Critics Online, and the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, the National Society of Film Critics.
